I really loved my stay at Alang-Alang.
The place is beautiful, and all is very fine.
Many thanks for all the work you do.

We stayed at Alang Alang for six wonderful days. Not knowing what to expect when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised at the perfect setting and very friendly staff. A good holiday is not just about location it is about how you are treated during your stay and I have to say the staff could not have been friendlier. We spent four out of the six days at the pool enjoying \'just doing nothing\' as well as having our daily massage - just perfect! The staff were genuinely interested in your wellbeing which is rare in most resorts. We went on two great road trips to see the sights including Gilli Nanggu where we snorkelled with the beautiful tropical fish . I would recommend Alang Alang to anyone wanting a quiet, relaxed holiday.

I recently stayed at your lovely little establishment and I had to write you a letter about my visit. Let me say that I was pleasantly surprised.
I am an avid Trip Advisor reader and although I take some reviews with a grain of salt, especially the very negative ones, I still like to be cautious.
I definitely had a positive experience. I'm glad I made my choice for my husband and I to stay at the Alang-Alang Boutique Hotel.
The island itself is unlike the other Indonesian Islands. Lombok has a charm all of its own. A relaxed comfortable beach side, great tours and some really great restaurants. Especially the hotel restaurant. We had a phenomenal dinner three times. The service was really good. It was a very welcoming experience. The hotel was different than what we normally stay in. We usually do a Grand Hyatt or Hilton International or a bigger chain property. The Alang-Alang has all the charm of a large property, though, without the attitude. It's definitely more "boutique" and you can tell. And when I say that, it's a good thing. It has the "feel" of a very casual & relaxed, comfortable boutique type establishment. Your front desk staff was very personable. Even the maintenance guy climbed a tree and cut a coconut for us - thank him again for us! The beach, the island, the people all treated us wonderfully. I don't want to make it sound like I'm so particular, but I'm just saying that I was pleasantly pleased. For a small property, it has a charm and warmth. We felt very comfortable and we will be back!
All the best for continued success! Fiona S.

We're just back from a wonderful 10 days stay at Alang-Alang and loved it very much. The resort is a real beauty, perfect if you search for a bit of privacy.
The fact it isn't directly on the beach isn't a minus, actually we felt that the sound of the waves hitting the rocks creates an even more beautiful atmosphere.
The pool is beautiful, the restaurant and the food excellent. Our ocean view bungalow was wonderful with a nice view over to Bali. And not to forget the fresh flowers placed on the bed and in the bathroom every day...
The staff is a class of its own; super friendly, always smiling and good for a chat. Their behaviour was more like of friends than of staff just there to serve you.
The only little thing we didn't like too much was that sometimes locals used the pool in the evening. Nothing against getting in touch with the local people, but not in the pool please.
But in total we already miss this beautiful place and will happily stay there again. So we'd like to say again THANK YOU VERY MUCH, TERIMA KASIH to everybody at Alang Alang for the warm hospitality and hope to see you again!

We had booked the Alang Alang in 2006 for 2 nights ... and because we liked the place so much, we came back a week later to stay for a few more nights.

The room was nice and clean, with comfortable beds and with an open air bathroom. We had room Nr. 105 with the Garden/Ocean-view.

The food is delicious and very very tasty!
The staff was really friendly and even spoke a few words of German ... The pool is nice to swim and relax at. We got great massages from the two ladies in the garden.

The only thing I was missing is a beach but as there is a nice pool and a trip to the Gilis possible, it didn't matter too much.

All in all, it was one of the best places we stayed at in Indonesia

Now in May 2008 we will return to the Alang Alang and we are very much looking forward to stay there again.

Sampai jumpa.

We have been at Alang Alang for 8 days. Being with 11 people needing 5 rooms. We used the bungalows.
The bungalows are beautiful with a great taste for colour and design. The front bungalows looking over the sea to Bali are super but the one behind that are more quiet because of the waves from the sea.
The rooms are also good but are missing the very nice bathroom under the stars.
There is good snorkling just in front of the resort but for the beach you need to go and walk a few minutes north along the resort fronts.
Kitchen is very good, prices are normal for a resort and very clean.
The pool is one of a kind...beautiful.
There is a lot of room in between the bungalows with a beautifull garden.
The staff is doing there very best to keep the resort in good condition.
This is a beautifull spot to go to if you want to stay with your book with a lot of privacy and surrounded by friendly staff serving you as needed.

Last but not least......The staff is doing there very best to make your stay unforgetable. They are so very friendly and helpfull.
Once again, thank you for a wonderfull stay.

My partner and I spent a week here in October 2005. We absolutely loved it. The accommodation is outstanding, the grounds beautiful and the pool inviting. The staff deserve a special mention as nothing was ever a problem and they all remembered you by name. Food was fantastic and well priced. Really enjoyed our stay and will be back - who knows maybe with a group of freinds for our wedding (yes we really did enjoy it that much!).

My wife & I, and 2 daughters stayed here about 8 years ago and we still all talk about it. It's a wonderful jewel on Lomboks Western Coast. We'll be coming back it's only a matter of time. The rooms are fantastic, the gardens are beautiful and the pool was fantastic fun for us and the girls. The hotel service for getting into and back from the Sengiggi shopping area was great. All in all a great place.
